Our ENCEPHALOCELE BABY BOY,He Came into our lives to leave his footprint in our hearts and in a clay mold... WE NOW LOOK AT HIS CLAY FOOTPRINT AS A REMINDER, "WE MUST KEEP ON WALKING. I carried you in my belly for 9 months.
We held you in our arms for 25 hours and 30 minutes.
~We will cherish your life;
with every beating of our hearts~
Elijah was born on July 9th 2008. He was born with a condition called Occipital Encephalocele. A lethal condition where the brain has herniated through a tiny[or large] hole on the head which did not close during the first 25 days of formation within the womb.
We learned of this condition on February 13, 2008 [I was 16 weeks pregnant]. during a routine scheduled ultrasound.
We held you in our arms for 25 hours and 30 minutes.

- Weve been married since March 5, 2005. We have Kayla(now14) who became my daughter at age 5, the day her Daddy and I got married. Our 1st born is Josiah(now 7). ELIJAH (would be 4) our baby who was born and lived for almost 2 days. Haliah is our 2 yr old. WE ARE LEARNING TO WALK THE JOURNEY SET BEFORE US, AS PARENTS TO A BABY IN HEAVEN. We love being asked about Elijah and we think of him most days and every Holiday too of course
